Would you like to get ahead of the game and have a sneak peek at the colours that will be trending in the fashion world in spring 2018? Just as we did with last summer’s trend, at Vagaluz we will help you and your child be fashion-forward and give you an insight into what colours will be most popular this spring.
The Pantone Colour Institute, which predicts world colour trends and offers advice to companies on the use of colour with regard to product development and branding, has named its colour of the year and the colours it believes will trend this spring. So, what colours should you and your children wear this spring? Have a look at some of the beautiful colours in our collection!
Pantone has named Ultra violet the colour of the year for 2018. According to the institute, this shade of purple “conveys originality and ingenuity” and “fascinates and intrigues.” So, if you would like to invest in a colour this year, Ultra violet is the one and it, or other variants of purple, are sure to feature heavily in stores throughout the year.
With its hints of purple, this pretty floral skirt by Un beso de mariposa would make a lovely addition to your child's wardrobe. It is a very versatile skirt that can be worn throughout the year.
Pantone has named eleven other colours that are set to take the fashion world by storm this spring. We have a number of clothes in these colours that will flatter your child.
1. Cherry tomato. This attention-grabbing orangey-red will give warmth and vibrancy to your outfit.
2. Palace blue is a warmer shade of blue, like a cornflower blue.
3. Meadowlark. This pretty yellow will give you a spring in your step and make you feel cheerful.
This beautifully knit girl's yellow jumper by Nanos is great for cooler spring and summer days, but can also be worn year-round.
4. Ash Rose is a dusky pink with a more earthy hue. It will help warm up pale complexions without overpowering them and will flatter dark skin tones. People who are not big fans of pink will appreciate this subtle colour.
5. Nile Green compliments Ash Rose and many of the other colours very well. It is a soft tone of green that will provide a fresh look to your wardrobe.
6. Blooming Dahlia is another colour that epitomises spring. It is an understated peachy-pink colour.
This playful skirt and top by Mon Petit Bonbon is a lovely casual look. The gold spots on the top add fun to the outfit whilst the pink-peach skirt is elegant.
7. Spiced Apple as its name suggests, seems like quite an autumnal colour. It is similar to burgundy and will provide a gorgeous contrast to the lighter colours that will feature this spring.
8. Pink Lavender is a tranquil and romantic colour that works well with springtime.
9. Almost Mauve will appeal to people who like muted tones. Stark white is replaced with a hint of mauve, creating a feminine touch.
10. Rapture Rose is a very warming, pleasant pink colour that is entirely appropriate for spring.
With its print skirt and plain pink top this dress by Noma Fernández is very stylish and comfortable.
11. Lime Punch is a bright, almost neon yellow colour. Its cheerful vibrancy will appeal to many and will suit dark skin tones really well.
We hope that you are happy with the range of colours that will be popular this spring. There are colours that will suit young and old and that will add some light and cheerfulness to the spring. Why not have a look at our full collection and plan for spring 2018?
