Organise a fun baby shower for a friend or loved one

Baby showers originated in the USA but, in recent years, they have become increasingly popular in the UK. They are a great way to celebrate the impending birth of a new life. Choose a theme for your party

Although it is not necessary to have a theme for your party, it can be helpful in tying everything together. Some examples of cute themes that you could choose are Beatrix Potter characters, Paddington, or fairy tale characters such as Little Red Riding Hood and the three little pigs. You should be able to find cups, plates and napkins with these characters in shops or online. Alternatively, if you know the gender of the baby, you might choose to have a simple blue or pink theme.
